On Sunday, January 9th, at about 6:40 pm, a robber armed with a large knife entered the Shell Station at 322 Burnside Road and demanded money.
The lone employee was approached by a male and a large knife was brandished in a threatening manner. After obtaining a quantity of money, the robber then fled the area on foot.
Patrol officers responded promptly and established containment in the area. A Police Service Dog was requested and began to track the suspect away from the gas station.
