Just before 3pm today, Saanich Police were contacted by a caller requesting police assistance to a residence in the 3900 block of Cadboro Bay road. Upon arriving, Patrol officers located two deceased persons inside the residence.
There has been no determination regarding the cause of death at this time. No details about the deceased individuals are being released pending all notifications.
The residence and a significant part of the neighbourhood remains behind crime scene tape.
At present, investigators on scene include Forensic Technicians, Major Crimes Detectives, Patrol and Traffic Safety Unit officers.
The 3900 block of Cadboro Bay road remains closed and will be through the night. There is a local detour for traffic in the area.
Nobody has been arrested in this matter and the Saanich Police are not seeking anybody at present.
Further information is not anticipated until tomorrow.
