The Shell station at Saanich and Douglas was robbed twice today and a total of three times this week!
At 7:48am this morning, Saanich Police Patrol officers responded to another robbery at the Parkdale Shell at Saanich road and Douglas street. The suspect fled despite an area cordon and a police dog track.
At 2:08 this afternoon, another robbery was reported at the same gas station, the third time this week. Again the robber fled on foot and was gone prior to the police arriving.
As luck would have it, a suspicious cab driver contacted police which led officers from both the Victoria and Saanich Police to a motel in the 3000 block of Douglas street.
Two males and a female are presently under arrest and two suites at the motel are under police control.
A joint investigation between Saanich and Victoria Detectives continues this afternoon.
No weapon was produced and nobody was hurt in all three of these incidents. Investigators are working to draw any connections between other robberies in the region.
