On September 25, 2011 at approximately 11:30am, a lone male entered the Subway Restaurant in the 3400 block Douglas st., demanding money. A small handgun was produced and the male was able to flee with a small amount of cash. There were no injuries reported.
Description for the male was described as:
- six feet in height
- medium build
- wearing a purple bandana which was covering his face
- black hooded jacket
Saanich Police and members of the Victoria City Police searched the area however the male was not located. It is believed that this incident may be related to the other robberies that have happened in the area in the past week, but no conclusive links have been made as of yet.
