Yesterday afternoon, multiple vehicle break-ins occurred at Beaver Lake park.
Saanich Police Patrol officers are investigating a total of three vehicle break-ins which occurred yesterday. All three separate vehicles were entered by way of a smashed window.
Items taken include an Apple laptop, ID and credit cards, a purse, a bag of tools, a black briefcase and sunglasses. Very shortly after the theft a credit card was used at a nearby gas station.
Investigators believe that thieve(s) were watching the parking lot as each vehicle broken into, high value items were located.
The Saanich Police suggest not leaving any valuables in your cars at the park. Purses and wallets may be left at home and personal ID can be easily carried in your pocket.
