A hit & run driver and his black Ford F150 pickup are being sought by Saanich Police after a Sidney mother and her two teen daughters received whiplash injuries from a two vehicle crash in the 4900 block of West Saanich Road.
The collision happened just before 9:30 p.m. on Thursday night (Feb 16th), just north of the intersection with Interurban Road.
The hit & run driver was travelling southbound on West Saanich Road.
A Mazda sedan was travelling northbound, going the opposite direction. A 42 year old Sidney woman with her 16 & 17 year old daughters were heading home to Sidney after a soccer practice.
The black Ford F150 crossed over the centre line and sideswiped the oncoming Mazda sedan. All three occupants of the sedan were taken to Victoria General Hospital with whiplash injuries.
Police are seeking the hit and run driver. The Ford truck sustained substantial damage along the driver’s side.
