The summer Counterattack season is upon is. For the month of July, Saanich Police officers from the Traffic Safety Unit and Patrol Division will be doing added road checks.
Saanich Police will be working in concert with the CRD Integrated Road Safety Unit to focus on removing those who have been drinking from our roadways.
The first roadblock was deployed on July 7th, with two 24 hour suspensions for drug use, and one 90 day and one 3 day Immediate Roadside Prohibitions issued. All four vehicles were towed and impounded.
