37 year old Kevin Thomas GORDON is now facing seven new fraud-related charges involving senior citizens living in Saanich and Colwood.

These charges are related to a door-to-door pressure-washing operation during the months of March, April and May this year.

GORDON was already being held at VIRCC jail in Saanich since mid-July on an unrelated series of criminal charges from Saanich, Oak Bay and Nanaimo.

The most recent charges arise from a joint investigation by Saanich Police and West Shore RCMP financial crime investigators.

Several of the victims are in their late 80’s who reported having had jewellry, credit cards, personal identification and other items stolen from their homes.

GORDON’s next court date is August 14th.

Police are cautioning homeowners to be cautious and wary when approached by door-to-door solicitors who offer pressure-washing and other similar services.
