Break and Enter To Residence Storage Area

Saanich Police are asking the public to be on the look out for someone trying to sell property related to a recent theft from a residence.

At some time between December 9 and December 13, someone unlawfully entered a ground level storage area of a residence located in the 3300 block of Linwood Avenue. Approximately $3800 worth of property was taken during the incident.

There was no apparent forced entry to the storage area, and it was believed that the home owners may have inadvertently left the storage area unlocked. The door leading into the storage room was not visible from the roadway or adjoining properties.

Numerous items were taken from the residence. The suspects may be looking to sell the items to unwary purchasers.

Included in the list of stolen items were:

two (2) Scotty electric drownriggers

two (2) Milwaukee 18 volt cordless drills
