Three Newest Officers Presented Their Badges

Today, the Saanich Police family welcomed its three newest officers at a Badge Presentation Ceremony that took place in the Kirby Room at Saanich Police headquarters.

Chief Constable Bob Downie, other members of Senior Management, and a large gathering of officers and professional support staff turned out to welcome the three officers and their families into the fold.

Constable Jas Dhaliwal comes to us as an exempt officer who previously worked as a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.  Jas was also previously a member of the Saanich Police Reserve Program.

Constable Tyler Sampson, the son of S/Sgt. Craig Sampson, will commence Block 1 training at the JIBC on September 22, 2014. Tyler was recently employed by Saanich Police and has been working in Telecoms.

Lastly,  Constable Daniel Beebe will commence Block 1 training at the JIBC on September 22, 2014. Daniel comes to us from the Victoria General Hospital where he was previously employed as an emergency room nurse.

Wishing all a lengthy and fulfilling carrer.  Welcome!
