Last week the Saanich Police were investigating a suspected drug house in the 700 block of Haliburton Rd. On February 17, 2017 the Saanich Police Drug Section executed a search warrant at the home and one man was arrested without incident.
Upon searching the home evidence was located that supports drug trafficking charges. 33 year old Manjit Singh Guray, from Saanich, has been charged with one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking under the Control Drugs and Substances Act.
Mr. Guray, who is known to Police, was held in custody and will appear in court again on February 23, 2017.
