National Police Week May 15-21, 2017

National Police Week started in 1970 with the objectives of providing an opportunity for police to engage with their communities and to help increase community awareness about the services that we provide.

The Saanich Police Department is deeply engaged with the community on many levels and we enjoy a very strong level of community-based support.

On Saturday, May 20th, between 1-3 p.m., the Community Engagement Division has organized a public display of our various modes of police transportation. This event will take place in the upper parking lot behind Saanich Municipal Hall.

Everyone’s invited to the area to chat with our police and reserve officers and to have pictures taken in a police vehicle. Additionally kids can try on a pint-sized Saanich Police Uniform and get a photo with our mascot Ace.

Hope to see you there!
