As the Police Service here in Saanich we’re called to investigate a number of senior’s issues. These investigations include instances were seniors have been neglected, physically abused or taken advantage of financially, sometimes losing their life savings.
Today is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day and we all play a role in protecting the people in our community, especially those who find themselves in vulnerable situations.
