On September 19, 2017 at around 7:00AM the Saanich Police Department received a report of a cougar in the area of Thistlewood Dr/Donwood Dr in Saanich.
A Saanich Pound Officer was dispatched to the scene but was unable to locate the animal.
The BC Conservation Officer Service was advised of the reported sighting.
Area residents, parents of children attending school or other programs in the area and people working nearby are advised to be aware of this reported sighting.
