Saanich Police continue to investigate a pedestrian struck crash that happened at 8:30 Saturday morning, February 2, 2019 at the intersection of Tyndall Ave and Kenmore Rd.
The pedestrian, a 62 year Saanich resident, was crossing Tyndall Ave when she was struck by a vehicle travelling South. It appears she was in the crosswalk at the time she was hit.
Emergency services attended the scene and the woman was transported to hospital with life threatening injuries, where she remains in ICU. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and has been fully cooperating with investigators.
The Saanich Police Collision Analyst Team attended the scene and traffic in the area was closed for several hours as investigators gathered evidence.
