Saanich PD Chinooks & 2019 Polar Plunge

Sunday, February 17th is Polar Plunge day and members of the Saanich Police, along with our partners from Victoria PD, Oak Bay PD, Central Saanich PD, RCMP, Sheriffs and Corrections, will be donning brave faces as they splash through the icy waters off Willows Beach, all in support of Special Olympics BC!

The Polar Plunge is an established fundraiser to bring the joy of sport, through quality training and competition, into the lives of children and adults with intellectual disabilities.  Special Olympics BC provides year-round sports programs that build strength, skills, and confidence in more than 4,800 BC athletes.

Help us raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics BC by sponsoring our team Saanich PD Chinooks, and come out at 10:00am to watch Chief Bob Downie plunge into the Pacific!

Learn more about Special Olympics BC at www.specialolympics.ca/british-columbia and the Polar Plunge at www.plunge4specialolympics.com/, where you can sponsor the Saanich PD Chinooks or register your own team.

See you there!
