Saanich Police are looking for information to help solve a robbery that happened at about 2am on May 23, 2019 in Rudd Park. A 23 year old woman was walking through the park, located at 3340 Whittier Avenue, when an unknown man grabbed her purse and fled towards Burnside Road West. A Saanich Police K9 team was able to track down the purse and some of its contents a short distance away, however the woman’s wallet has not been found.
The suspect was wearing dark clothing and a hat.
