At 11:00 p.m. last night, Saanich Police were contacted by a resident of Cordova Bay who observed a cougar in their yard. This is believed to be the same cougar that had been spotted in the same area two weeks ago that had been demonstrating some unusual behaviours.
Residents of the Sayward Road, Fowler Road, Cordova Bay Road area Mattick’s Farm should be mindful of their surroundings, families and pets.
The BC Conservation Office has been notified and will be following up today, July 27, 2020.
