Truck ‘Crashes Into Everything’

Yesterday afternoon, multiple 911 calls were received about a truck ‘crashing into everything’ at the Petro Can station at the corner of Shelbourne and McKenzie.

The truck had entered the parking lot, collided with a parked car then a barrier before vaulting a curb and entering Shelbourne Street. It then side swiped a transit bus before hitting a third vehicle doing damage to the front bumper and headlight area.

It was then last seen travelling north bound on Shelbourne Street at a high rate of speed.

The driver of the third vehicle struck was taken to hospital by BCAS for evaluation.

The suspect vehicle is described as a two toned white and dark band down the side, Ford F150 or F250 pick-up truck. The truck had no canopy and was not an extended cab. It will have damage to the front end area and passenger side.

Total damage is valued at over $10000.00.
