Burglar sought by police

Suspect sought in a break-in that occurred in Saanich earlier this month.

A break-in on Shelbourne street was reported to the Saanich Police on February 15th, 2012. The residents had been away for a couple of days and returned to find that someone had broken a window and entered the residence. Items taken from the residence included various leather jackets, electronics and a 42″ TV.

Investigators connected the break-in to Christopher Andrew Leggo and now a warrant for Break and Enter has been issued by the Victoria Court Registry for his arrest. Leggo is 43 years of age and is described as 5’10” tall and 200lbs in weight. He has a noticeable scar on his upper lip and on his nose.

Leggo is believed to be in the Victoria area still. He has a lengthy history for theft and property offences and is believed to have committed other offences in the CRD.
