Public Assistance Sought To Locate Missing 37 Year Old Woman

Saanich Police Detectives are reaching out to the public with the hope of locating a 37 year old female, reported missing by family members on February 12, 2014.

Trish Marie WOOD, pictured in the attached photo, was last known to be in the Saanich area in late December 2013. WOOD has had no contact with family for several months, and was originally reported as missing to the Victoria Police Department. Given that the last known contact with police was in Saanich, Saanich Police Detectives have taken over conduct of the investigation.

WOOD is believed to have been living on the street, without any apparent fixed address. There are indications that WOOD may have chosen to enage in high risk activities in order to support her chosen lifestyle.

Investigators have learned that WOOD may have been in the company of a male friend named “Chad”, and that the two may have left the Victoria area, possibly heading east into another Province in Canada.

Investigators do not have any information that suggests that WOOD has met with foul play. Police are looking to confirm WOOD’s safety, and to put her in touch with family.

WOOD is described as Caucasian, approximately 5’2″ tall, approximately 120 pounds, and was last known to have long blonde hair. WOOD has multiple earrings in each ear and numerous tattoos, including a butterfly on her back and writing on her feet.
