Earlier today we received a report of a possible threat to the area around Spectrum Community School. These possible threats were made on social media and were very vague. Saanich Police were eventually able to track down the person who made the original complaint and were able to verify what comment they read on social media. Saanich Police were then able to locate the individual who made these comments. After speaking to all parties involved Saanich Police are satisfied there is no threat to the school, students, teachers or staff.
Saanich Police take all threats seriously and safety of our community remains paramount.
