The Saanich Police are investigating after a report of a man walking in the trails in the 3200 block of Cedar Hill Road had made some sexualized comments toward a woman walking in the area on June 5, 2020.
Another report was then received of this man being verbally aggressive toward another woman last summer in the same area.
Officers were able to locate and identify this man yesterday and do not believe that there are any current safety concerns to the public.
“We have taken steps to involve our mental health team workers on this file, which we believe are the underlying reasons for the man’s actions. Police are not considering any charges at this time.”
