The Saanich Police’ very own version of Billy Idol is at it again on behalf of cancer fundraising.
Billy Idol, aka Kevin Nunn, the Saanich Police Quartermaster, is at it again. This year he intends to pull a brand new Mini around Ring Road at UVIC for 21km! This feat of superhuman strength for kids with cancer will be in support of the fundraising efforts by the three Saanich Police Tour de Rock riders- Cst. Jett Junio, Cst. Niki Hodgkinson and Cst. Jana Sawyer.
This year’s event will take place on Sept. 9th, at 8am with the start line being at the Student Union Building.
You may remember Kevin from last year when he ran from Duncan to Victoria. The 60km run took a measly 7hours and 19 minutes. Last year he raised over $13k for Cops for Cancer and this year he wants to raise over $25k.
