On August 23, 2012 at approx. 1500 hrs a resident in the 2900 Blk of Millgrove St. called the Saanich Police after witnessing a lone male attempting to break into their neighbours shed.
The witness was able to provide a detailed description of the suspect along with a last known direction of travel.
Numerous officers from the Uniform Patrol Division and Traffic Safety Unit attended and circulated in the area.
Based on the detailed description provided by the witness, officers were able to locate the male a short distance away.
A 50 yr old Victoria male is currently facing charges of attempt break and enter, and possession of stolen property.
