Saanich Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating missing 15 year old, Asher LOENEN. LOENEN has been missing since 0930 hours on August 28, 2013, and is believed to be in the Lower Mainland and possibly trying to cross the border into the USA. He was last seen riding a purple “Wheeler” bicycle, with a blue and black back pack. He may have camping equipment in his possession.

LOENEN is described as Caucasian, 6’2, 180lbs, dirty blonde hair, hazel eyes. He is believed to be wearing a rainbow colored Nepalese style toque, blue Columbia Jacket, and a burgundy and tan VOLCOM hoodie. A photograph of LOENEN has been attached.

Police are concerned that LOENEN lacks the necessary survival skills to sustain a lifestyle of camping for an extended period of time. In addition, he may lack the funds required to provide himself with food and water.

Police are asking anyone who sees LOENEN or may have helpful information on his whereabouts to call the Saanich Police at (250) 475-4321 or their local Police.
