Arrest of suspect in UVIC incident

The University of Victoria, Campus Security were immediately called and quickly located the young person.  The Saanich Police were then contacted, attended and made the arrest.

Police are recommending one charge of preforming an Indecent Act, be laid against a youth, in relation to this incident.  At this time Police are still investigating other similar events and may forward more charges, to Crown Counsel, if the charge approval standard is met.  The young person has been held in custody and will appear before the courts on September 12, 2016.
