On September 30, 2018, at approximately 0930 hours, the Saanich Police responded to a report of a male who forced his way into a home in the 700 Block of Paskin Way and assaulted the victim with a weapon and stole items from that home.
Two males from Saanich, a 32 year old and 42 year old, have been arrested in relation to the incident and various charges including assault with a weapon, break and enter, and theft are being considered. The investigation led Police to a home in the 4100 Block of Barrington Road. The The Greater Victoria Emergency Response Team was called in to safely arrest those believed to be responsible.
All parties involved are known to each other and there is no risk to the public. The Saanich Police Detective Division in concert with the Forensic Identificaiton Section are responsible for the ongoing investigation. The victim suffered no injuries during the incident.
