This morning Saanich Police Bike Squad officers on patrol at local parks found several vehicles with valuables. Some, like the picture attached, were in plain view in the parked vehicles.
The photo clearly shows a purse placed between the seats in a vehicle parked at Mt. Doug park. Other vehicles had valuables where attempts had been made to hide them under jackets or blankets.
The public is once again reminded not to leave any valuables in your vehicle while using the park.
